KC Rainbow Development Corporation, LLC has substantially completed construction on a mixed-use residential high-rise project on six acres of land bordered by Kapiolani Boulevard, Pensacola, Piikoi and Kamaile Streets.  The complex includes 720 residential units in two 400-foot towers, and 1,677 parking spaces. In December 2003, the HCDA approved the Planned Development Permit and Joint Development application for this project.  The 360-unit west tower has been opened for occupancy and the 360-unit east tower is still undergoing interior work and is expected to be opened in March 2007.
