Funding Approved for Kaka’ako Makai Community Planning Advisory Council--CPAC

CPACHCDA members authorized the HCDA Interim Executive Director to contract with the University of Hawaii Spark M. Matsunaga Institute for Peace and to expend up to $52,800 for facilitation services for CPAC.  For Phase II of the Kaka’ako Makai planning process, facilitators will lead the meetings; assist with meeting logistics; generate meeting notices, agendas and summaries; and maintain an email contact list for the group.  Additionally, the facilitators will assist CPAC in conducting educational sessions on Kaka’ako Makai’s background and history, relating to land use constraints and opportunities and previous plans for the area, and maintain an effective interface with HCDA.
