Funding Approved for Kaka’ako Makai Community Planning Advisory Council--CPAC
HCDA members authorized the HCDA
Interim Executive Director to contract with the University of Hawaii
Spark M. Matsunaga Institute for Peace and to expend up to $52,800 for
facilitation services for CPAC. For Phase II of the Kaka’ako
Makai planning process, facilitators will lead the meetings; assist
with meeting logistics; generate meeting notices, agendas and
summaries; and maintain an email contact list for the group.
Additionally, the facilitators will assist CPAC in conducting
educational sessions on Kaka’ako Makai’s background and history,
relating to land use constraints and opportunities and previous plans
for the area, and maintain an effective interface with HCDA.
