HCDA Asks for Public Feedback in an Effort to Improve Kaka'ako District Parks

Parks Graphic

The Hawaii Community Development Authority is asking for the public’s help in its effort to continually improve and maintain the three Kaka‘ako District parks—the Kaka‘ako Waterfront Park, the Kewalo Basin Park, and the Makai Gateway Park.  To initiate the process, HCDA recently distributed a questionnaire to frequent park users, tenants in the vicinity, government officials and agencies, and interested parties and organizations.  The questionnaire was also handed out to park visitors.  The feedback received, summarized in the document below, gives HCDA a baseline of how the parks are perceived by users and allows HCDA the opportunity to identify specific areas of improvement and to address them as applicable.

HCDA welcomes comments from the public regarding park amenities and items of concern.  Please feel free to email your comments or concerns to [email protected].
