Draft Mauka Area Rules
March 31, 2010 Community Meeting Materials
A community meeting on the Draft Mauka Area Rules was held on March 31, 2010. At the meeting, HCDA staff presented background information on the Mauka Area Plan and Rules process. Project consultants Torti Gallas and Partners introduced the concept of form base coding and presented information on the Draft Mauka Area Rules. A copy of the presentation is provided as well as the Synoptic Survey of the Mauka Area. The Synoptic Survey describes existing conditions by looking at existing built form, landscaping, streets and the regulatory framework.
Feedback on the presentation will be incorporated into a first draft of the Mauka Area Rules. It is anticipated that the first draft will be completed in late May and will be posted on HCDA’s public consultation website for review and comment.
