The Kauhale Kaka‘ako, contains 258 affordable one- and two-bedroom rental units 860 Halekauwila Street.  It was developed by the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) and the Housing and Community Development Corporation of Hawaii (HCDCH).  All units include a range/oven, refrigerator, air conditioning and ceiling fan.  Amenities include a recreation deck with basketball court, exercise and BBQ areas, a children’s playground and meeting room.  Kauhale Kaka‘ako’s ground floor includes 11,000 square feet of commercial/light industrial space with an adjoining parking structure.  For more information, call (808) 594-0192.
