Conveniently located on land bounded by Coral, Cooke and Halekauwila Streets, the Na Lei Hulu Kupuna senior rental housing complex provides 75 attractive and fully-furnished studio units which are available at State subsidized rents that Hawaii’s valued seniors can afford.  The project was made possible through the unique alliance of the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA), the Housing and Community Development Corporation of Hawaii (HCDCH), the City and County of Honolulu, and the Bank of Hawaii.  Na Lei Hulu Kupuna (translated as “The Elders, Our Cherished Ones”)—conveniently located near downtown Honolulu, major medical facilities, the Ala Moana Shopping Center and Beach Park, public bus lines and other recreational facilities—is a pleasant low-rise apartment complex furnished with a bed, dresser, dining table and chair.  All units also offer air-conditioning, a television, range, microwave oven, refrigerator, carpet, drapes, and emergency call system.  Utilities are included in the rent.  For more information, call (808) 593-1009
